四川希望汽車職業學院是2013年2月經四川省教育廳批準、國家教育部備案正式成立的，是資陽市第一所具有獨立頒發學歷文憑、面向全國招生的全日制高等職業院校。
學院位于成渝經濟區交匯地資陽市，由四川希望教育產業集團投資興建，建有教學大樓2棟、學生公寓2棟、圖書館及信息大樓1棟、2000平方米機械加工中心、標準體育運動場、食堂、超市等教學、生活配套設施，已全部竣工投入使用；二期、三期工程正在陸續建設之中。
學院設有汽車服務工程系、汽車與機械工程系、管理工程系3個教學系，開設有汽車制造與裝配技術、汽車電子技術、汽車檢測與維修技術、汽車技術服務與營銷、汽車改裝技術、數控技術、模具設計與制造技術、公路運輸與管理、工程造價、建筑工程管理、工程機械運用與維護、會計電算化、財務管理等13個專業。2014年面向全省共招收普通專科學生1298名，在校學生合計2302人。其中公路運輸與管理專業33名，工程機械運用與維護專業26名，建筑工程管理專業59名，工程造價專業56名，數控技術專業87名，模具設計與制造專業70名，汽車制造與裝配技術專業298名，汽車檢測與維修技術專業851名，汽車電子技術專業199名，汽車改裝技術專業65名，汽車技術服務與營銷專業451名，財務管理專業36名，會計電算化專業73名。目前，學院招生形勢良好，學生思想穩定，學習氛圍濃厚。
2014年5月8日，學院與清華大學汽車工程系簽署聯合辦學協議，共同培養人才。根據協議，清華大學汽車工程系每年將定期到學院開展學術講座，并選派專業教師開展支教活動；學院每年將選派骨干教師和優秀學生到清華大學汽車工程系學習、深造。雙方將以多種形式開展聯合辦學，探索人才培養合作模式，成立合作實驗班，建立“區域汽車機械實訓基地”。學院將依托清華大學汽車工程系雄厚的師資力量、一流的研發優勢，廣泛開展產學研合作，建立新能源汽車節能減排示范基地，探索一流高校與高職院校合作模式，實現資源共享，優勢互補，為“打造西部車城，共建幸福資陽”提供高層次的智力支持和人才保障。

Sichuan Hope automotive Vocational College is formally established and approved by the Sichuan Provincial Department of education, kept on record by the Ministry of Education in February, 2013. Sichuan Hope automotive Vocational College is the first Full-time higher occupation college in Ziyang which can award diploma and enroll facing the whole nation.
Sichuan Hope automotive Vocational College is located in the intersection of Chengdu Chongqing Economic zone--Ziyang. It is invested by the Sichuan hope education industry group which plans a total investment of 830000000 yuan, the total construction area of 297000 square meters. The first phase of the project has invested 280 million yuan, including 2 academic buildings, 2 student apartments, library and a Information Building.

College has offered 6 special majors, including automobile manufacture and assembly technology, automotive electronics, vehicle inspection and repair technology, automotive technology service and marketing, numerical control technology, mold design and manufacturing technology. In 2014, there are 7 new majors, including automotive technology, highway transportation and management, engineering cost, construction management, engineering machinery application and maintenance, computerized accounting, financial management. At present, there are three departments. They are automotive service engineering department, automotive and mechanical engineering department, and management engineering department.
The collegel has more than 30 first-class training rooms of whole vehicle, detection of vehicle, repair of vehicle, machinery processing, electrical and electronic in the southwest. The college has signed a cooperation agreement with more than 100 companies such as Nanjun group, Sichuan modern, CSR Yuchai, which laid the foundation for the students’ practice and employment.
In May 8, 2014, the college signed cooperative agreement with the Automotive Engineering Department of Tsinghua University, Jointly developing talent. According to the agreement, the Automotive Engineering Department of Tsinghua University will regularly hold the college academic lectures, and **** the professional teachers to carry out teaching activities; college will **** the core teachers and students to study at the Automotive Engineering Department of Tsinghua University each year.
